"The support provided by the Chaplaincy Service to Law Enforcement has been outstanding.
The emotional "back up" they provide has been invaluable to victims as well as our employees"

"I have been a strong advocate of Law Enforcement Chaplains since the late 70s with the organization and start
up of Sacramento's Law Enforcement Chaplaincy program. Law Enforcement Chaplains provide a
tremendous resource and service to law enforcement during a crisis situation, and a comforting presence to
citizens during their time of need. Chaplains facilitate stress debriefings, arrange for emergency assistance
such as food, clothing, and shelter, as well as providing a referral service to a broad network of public
and private agencies. Most importantly, Chaplains follow up and check on victims' welfare and render additional
emotional support and assistance long after law enforcement has left the scene of a crisis. I urge the citizens of
Sonoma County to support our Law Enforcement Chaplaincy program."
Ed Flint, former Chief of Police - Santa Rosa

a tragic event is a calming, stabilizing force that represents a wonderful resource to bring to any crisis situation."
